Terms of the certified translation service provided by TriExpert Services LLC (Tampa, Florida). By submitting a request you accept what follows.
1. What we deliver
A complete and faithful translation of the document you send us, accompanied by a certificate of accuracy signed and dated by a qualified translator, in the format USCIS and other United States agencies require.
The translation reproduces the content of the original, including seals, signatures and annotations, and marks anything that is illegible. We do not correct, complete or interpret the source document: if the original contains an error, the translation reflects it and we flag it to you.
2. Price
The base rate is $15 per page, where a page means up to 250 words of source text. Two optional surcharges apply on top of that base: 35% for rush service and 20% for delivery in digital and printed format together.
The estimator figure is indicative. The final price is confirmed once we review the document and before work starts; if it differs from the estimate we tell you, and you decide whether to go ahead.
3. Turnaround
Standard delivery is 8 to 12 hours and rush delivery 1 to 2 hours, for one or two page documents. Longer documents, or those with specialised terminology, are quoted with their own turnaround.
The clock starts when the order is confirmed — that is, once we have reviewed the document and you have accepted the price — not when the form is submitted. An illegible or incomplete document stops the clock until we can work with it.
4. Payment
We accept cards through Stripe and other methods agreed in advance. Unless agreed otherwise, delivery takes place once payment is confirmed.
5. What we need from you
- A complete and legible document: every page, including reverse sides and seals. A sharp photograph works; a blurred one does not.
- The exact spelling of proper names as they appear in your passport or identity document, where it differs from the original.
- Any specific requirement of the receiving agency that you already know about.
If you give us one spelling and it later turns out to be another, correcting it counts as a change to the order, not as a mistake on our part.
6. Corrections
If you find a translation error attributable to us, we correct it at no charge and reissue the document. Likewise, if the receiving agency asks for a formatting adjustment, we make it at no charge.
Changes that are not our errors — altering a name you gave us differently, adding pages, changing the target language — are quoted separately.
7. Acceptance by third parties
We prepare documents in line with the requirements published by USCIS and other agencies. That said, the decision on your filing rests with the agency, not with us, and may depend on factors unrelated to the translation.
We stand behind the accuracy and the formatting of our translation. We cannot guarantee the outcome of your immigration, academic or court application, nor accept liability for decisions that do not depend on our work.
8. Cancellations
- Before translation starts: full refund.
- With work in progress: the proportion completed is invoiced and the remainder refunded.
- Once delivered and certified: no refund, unless there is an error on our part that we cannot correct.
9. Confidentiality
We treat every document as confidential. Only the team assigned to your order can access it, and files are deleted 30 days after delivery. The detail is in our privacy policy.
10. Verification
Every certified translation includes a unique, permanent code that can be checked online. It is a tool for whoever receives the document to confirm that we issued it; it does not replace the paper document, nor does it by itself attest to the contents of the original.
11. Limitation of liability
Save for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, or the consequences of third-party decisions.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Hillsborough County.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Each order is governed by the version in force when it was confirmed.
